I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from College of William and Mary under the supervision of Prof. Haining Wang.
I direct the Networked and Complex Systems Security Research (NEXUS) Lab at UA Little Rock. My research has been funded internally and externally (e.g., National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, and Amazon AWS).
My research interests lie in Cybersecurity, Cloud/Edge Computing, Mobile Computing, SDN & NFV, Social Network Analysis, Big Data Analytics, and Computer Education. Please contact me if you are interested in doing research with me in some of those areas.
I serve as the Director of NSA/DHS Designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) at UA Little Rock and the Director of UA Little Rock Computational Research Center.
I am the founder and adviser of UA Little Rock Cyber Security Club. The Cyber Security Club welcomes both undergraduate and graduate students interested in cybersecurity and information assurance. Students from any major or program are welcomed. Email me or stop by my office if you are interested.
